Data Deletion Request
Ibaloi Translator is a free, offline Ibaloi–English dictionary and translator developed by FLRCLP. This page explains exactly how to request deletion of any data the app has collected from you, what will be deleted, what will be kept, and how long the process takes.
What data Ibaloi Translator collects
Ibaloi Translator is offline-only. It does not require an account, does not have a sign-in screen, and does not send your dictionary lookups, translations, or browsing activity to any server. The only way data leaves your device is when you voluntarily submit the in-app "Give feedback" form. Submissions are delivered through the Web3Forms API to the developer's contact inbox and may contain, in full:
- A feedback category (e.g. "Wrong translation", "Suggest a new word")
- Pre-filled context (the headword or sentence you were viewing in the app)
- The description text you typed
- Your name — only if you chose to fill it in (optional)
- Your email address — only if you chose to fill it in (optional)
How to request deletion
Send an email with the subject line "Data deletion request" to:
In the body of the email, please include:
- The email address you used when submitting feedback, if you provided one. (If you submitted anonymously and did not include an email, there is no personally-identifying record to locate — see the next section.)
- The approximate date of the submission, if you remember it. This helps locate the message in the inbox.
- Any other identifying detail from the submission (the category chosen, the word or sentence that was the subject of the feedback, etc.).
You do not need to explain your reason for requesting deletion.
What will be deleted
- All feedback messages you submitted that are identifiable as yours — deleted from the developer's email inbox, any folders, and any local archives of that inbox.
- Any email reply thread from the developer that quotes or references your feedback content.
What will be kept (and why)
- Anonymous feedback with no contact information cannot be linked back to a specific person, so it cannot be selectively deleted. If you submitted feedback without a name or email, there is no record that identifies you as the sender.
- Corrections that were already applied to the dictionary data remain — the resulting dictionary entry is not personal data (it is a factual entry about the Ibaloi language). The feedback message that prompted the change is what gets deleted; the improved dictionary entry stays.
- On-device data (your search history, favorites, recent translations, preferences) never leaves your phone in the first place, so the developer cannot delete it on your behalf. To remove on-device data, uninstall the app or clear its storage in your device's Settings.
Response timeline
The developer will acknowledge your deletion request within 7 calendar days of receipt, and complete the deletion within 30 calendar days at the latest. You will receive an email confirmation when the deletion is complete. If a request cannot be fulfilled for any reason (for example, if no matching feedback can be located), you will be told so in writing.
